Food and Music all day in the park. This is a yearly event sponsored by the Sea Scum Sailing Society of Redondo Beach. The Sea Scum is a non philanthropic society dedicated to the preservation of ocean low life. The Society takes over Burton Chase Park each PresidentÂ’s day weekend and fills the docks with visiting boats from Redondo Beach Harbors. We have a huge dinner at the Santa Monica Yacht Club on Friday night, then the all day picnic and jam on Saturday, then race home on Sunday. If you would like to join us, bring a food dish to share and your favorite beverage and your instrument if you play and come on down!
