Several organ donors, donor family members, and transplant recipients will head off on the second-ever cross-country trip on all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) on April 8 at the Seal Beach Pier. The tours purpose: to send a message to millions of Americans that organ donation saves lives. The team accomplished the first-ever cross-country ATV tour in 2004.
he public is invited to join the celebration at 8 a.m. Sat., April 8 as the trip launches from the 10th Street parking area at the Seal Beach Pier. Adding to the fun in Seal Beach are local blues musicians who will be performing throughout the morning and afternoon.
The performers include John Parker from Forced Call, Toni Dodd & Southbound Blues, The Forty-Fours and The Melvin Eddy Blues Band.
The riders depart at 10 a.m. accompanied by supporting motorcyclists for the first segment of the trip. |
